window switch2. carefully use a blade/flat screw driver and ply the switch panel on the door handle. Unplug the 2 connectors, white on the left, red on the right. Push these 2 connectors back in to reveal a bolt behind them. Undo the bolt. |
missing picture here, this should be a
picture of the air vent inlet |
Vent Air Inlet3. There's a screw with washer holding the vent tubing to the door frame behind the vent gril. I am not too sure on this step, as apparently mine was broke by previous works. Supposely, the vent's air inlet's rubber seal and vent gril can be removed somehow to undo the screw behind. |

Storage Bin4. Open the storage bin cover / arm rest on the door. Right underneath the cover, a long black plastic trim runs the width of the storage bin. Find 2 knotchs on top about 3/4 inch to thhe edge, use a flat screw driver and ply the trim out to reveal 2 hidden bolts. Undo these 2 bolts. |

Door bottom lighting6. The red door-open light at the lower outside edge of tthe door panel is secured with 1 screw. Undo the screw, pull the red plastic light assembly down, then forward toward your body. Disconnect the wires from the connector. This step revealed 1 of the 5 screws alone the bottom of door panel. Plastic Clips Holding Door Panel7. Working from outer edge, carefully ply off the familiar white plastic clips holding the door panels. There are 3 of them, you can see 2 of them toward top of door sil that's colored yellow. The 3rd one is near middle toward the door hinges and near the speaker. If you have small hands, you may be able to disconnect the tweeter. If not, proceed carefully in next step. |

Door Panel8. Pull the door panel up to clear door lock pin and out. Careful that the door opening cable needed to be disconnected. The cable is connected to the door opening lever with an L shaped pin, into a white plastic holder.. Kinda like when working with dry wall where you put a pice of plastic thing that expands once the bolt is screw in... Similarly here, first rotate the white plastic piece away from the cable, pull the L part of cable pin out, and remove the plastic piece. The cable assembly is then snapped in onto a holder on the door panel to fix the location. It takes a bit to get it out... kinda hard to describe here... hope you get the idea. BTW, in this case, I opened up the door panel because the door opening cable snapped away from where it supposed to be. As you can see in this picture, the L shaped pin at the end of the cable isn't attached to the hole on the lever near where the spring's attached. |

Cable Properly Attached9. The cable is properly attached to the level as shown here. |
Missing picture here, should be a pic of
door panel fully assembled |
Installation8. Reverse the steps! Of course, remember to connect the tweeter connector, door opening cable, run the door panel light cable thru the hole, position the window switch connectors carefully when pushing the door panel back in. Not a hard job, just need to know where things are :) good luck |
