This picture was taken back in 1992 I believe. It was my 2nd ski trip. The first time was an year earlier at Winter Park, Colorado. If you are a skier, you should know what black double diamond means... and I was crazy enough to ski down from there.
At the top of the Chute 1, the air was thin, and by the time we got there walking uphill from the nearest ski lift, we were all trying to catch breath. Chute 1 is probably one of the most amazing run, it combines all kind bumps (moguls?).. deep ones, vertical drops, trees, etc, and a terrain with such a great variety. There was virtually no "tracks" to follow, all you need to know is to find a way to go down. Some times after passing thru all the trees only to find out there's no way out... It took us long time to get down there.. but the result was just rewarding. We spent the whole day running up and down of Chute 1
Till these days, I still feel proud of being crazy enough to have done something like that... especially it was my 2nd ski trip of the life.
